Colombian pianist David Córdoba-Hernández has built a career around performance, collaboration, and teaching, with an active presence in the United States and Latin America. He gave the world premiere of Juan Sebastián Cardona's Piano Concerto No. 1 with the EAFIT-Iberacademy Orchestra under Robert Moody and will perform the U.S. premiere with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra in March 2027.

He has collaborated with artists including Vincent Lucas (Orchestre de Paris), conductor Malcolm J. Merriweather (New York Philharmonic Chorus), and violist Amaro Dubois, with whom he recorded viola music by José Elizondo on Centaur Records. Based in Memphis, he works regularly with Opera Memphis and serves as Resident Pianist for the Memphis Symphony Chorus. As Director of Collaborative Piano at the Colchagua Vocal Institute, he developed Professional Skills of the Collaborative Pianist®.

David holds the Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Memphis.
